Mary Magalotti had her own private practice psychology firm before she partnered with Jodie Brenton in 2001 to start Life Resolutions. Mary is a training psychologist and understands the ins-and-outs of owning your own private practice firm. As a psychologist she has always devoted her life to helping others with the state of their mental health. Additionally, as a psychologist she has always wanted to make these services more readily available to more people. Owning her own practice she also had issues of wasting time on day-to-day administrative paperwork, marketing plans, financial planning, and all the other business operation work. This is why she partnered with Jodie Brenton to create a franchise firm that would reduce the work trained psychologists would have to do and could therefore focus more time on helping more patients. She had the same goal when creating Life Resolutions: to bring Australians more accessible psychological care.
One of Mary’s mottos she believes in as a psychologist is: “think well” to “be well.” The way we think shapesthe way we interact and behave with the world. Mary’s mission with Life Resolutions is to help others get a positive perspective with how they view themselves in their own life. “You can think of a psychologist as the person who helps you pinpoint where you are, and where you need to go next to lead a happier, more fulfilling life,” says Mary.
Mary’s goal with Life Resolutions is to help others with psychological support processes that will help her patients live a happier life. Mary has industry knowledge in the following areas: clinical supervision, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), stress management, private practice management, medical practice management, business relationship management, counselling psychology, psychological assessment, and working with adolescents. She has combined all this knowledge to create & run Australia’s largest psychologist franchise firm, Life Resolutions.
